Human Rights Violations in Chechnya

The website provides information, news and updates on the human rights violations in Chechnya.

Because of the six years long conflict, Chechnya experiences a large scale humanitarian disaster: at least 15% of its population has been exterminated. Torture, extra-judicial killings, death squads terrorizing the population are an every day reality, and now refugees are also forced back to the war zones.

This site intends to promote a worldwide awareness on the the breaches of humanitarian laws in Chechnya, on the democratic collapse of the post-Soviet Russia, the Western complicity with a "terror for terror" policy and how this might lead to a future international destabilization.
