CHECHEN STUDENTS TO VISIT GERMANY AS PART OF EXCHANGE PROGRAMME

MOSCOW, May 27 (RIA Novosti corr.) - Chechen students are expected to visit Germany as part of an exchange programme.

The administration of the Chechen Republic told RIA Novosti on Wednesday that such plans were discussed at a round table on national policy in Potsdam yesterday.

The Association of Russo-German Friendship is expected to handle the implementation of these plans.

Abdul-Khakim Sultygov, special envoy of the Russian president on human rights in Chechnya, attended the round table.

"Participants of the meeting discussed cultural exchanges between students and assistance by German public organisations in reviving the republic's cultural life," the Chechen administration said.

Comment: Sultygov, the special envoy of Putin on human rights in Chechnya (a fact that is offensive to all the victims of human rights violations in Chechnya alone)  is a man who already told us that NGO's as Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, etc. are "terrorist organizations". I'm only waiting that this man will become for the German government a special counselor on the subject. It is clear that the German government, as every other European one, is only trying to hide its murderous complicity with the Chechen genocide with these kind of agreements. M.M.
