| The decision of the Chechen Diasporas in
Europe In connection with the barbarous murder of the legally elected President of the Chechen Republic Ichkeria Aslan Mashadov mourning actions took place in capitals of the European states, in which tens thousand Chechens and many representatives of public, political organizations of the European Union took part. Since March, 9, till March, 11, "Tezet" took place in European cities, where thousands and thousands people expressed their sincere condolences in occasion of the tragedy of the Chechen people. During these days prayers for the dead were made in all the main mosques of Europe . Representatives of various faiths expressed sympathy for the Chechen people, in connection with their grief. On the 12-13 th of March mourning meetings and offerings took place, expressing the pain of the terrible loss and calling to unification and support to each other. So, in the largest city of Belgium Antwerp on March, 12, more than 500 people from different cities of Belgium , Germany , France and Holland took part in offerings. Mourning meetings and demonstrations were carried out in Warsaw , Berlin , Brussels , Paris , Vienna , Madrid , The Hague , Strasbourg , Tranheim ( Norway ), Tamper ( Finland ) and other cities of Europe . Demonstrators with national flags of the CRI and portraits of President Mashadov showed the extreme indignation of the barbarous assassination of the legally elected President. Proceeding from the resolutions of the mourning actions the Chechen public in Europe has decided: 1. To condemn categorically the barbarous murder of the nationally elected President of the CRI Aslan Mashadov. 2. To demand from the government of the Russian Federation to transfer the body of President Mashadov to his family for burring immediately. 3. To demand from the government of the Russian Federation to release the captured earlier relatives of President Mashadov immediately. 4. To suggest the management of the Chechen Republic Ichkeria to refuse any dialogue with the government of the Russian Federation until the transfer of the body of the killed President of the CRI to his family. 5. To demand from all members of the states of the United Nations and all international and intergovernmental organizations, including the European Union and the Council of Europe, to condemn the murder of the legally elected President of the CRI Aslan Mashadov and to force the government of the Russian Federation to give out the body to his family; to initiate the claim to the International Tribunal in The Hague on the fact of genocide of the Chechen people. 6. To demand from the OSCE to state the official estimation of the fact of the murder of President Mashadov elected under supervision of its representatives, as an act of encroachment on the bases of the international law. 7. To appeal with the earnest entreaty to the Russian mass media to stop publications of photos and pictures of the killed President insulting the feelings of the national advantage of the people. 8. Separately to demand from the Organization of the Islamic Conference and leading Islamic divines to assess and condemn the government of the Russian Federation for murder and mockery at the body of the leader of the Muslim people, who made hajj to the Islamic relics Mecca and Medina, and to achieve delivery of the body of the killed for burial, according to the canons of Islam. 9. To appeal to Chechens all over the world to continue the movement until the full execution of the mentioned above requirements.
