Chechen refugees hound out from Ingushetia

Refugees from 'Bella camp' would be deprived of shelter on July 25, 2003. 'Bella camp', the camp of Chechen refugees, located in the outskirts of Ordzhonikidzevskoi region of the Sunzhenskoi district of RI, was visited by assistant of the deputy chief administrator of immigration affairs of Interior Ministry of the Republic of Ingushetiya, Ahmet Parchiyev, reported press-service of CKNS.

The forced immigrants from Chechen Republic of Ichkeriya told that Parchiyev declared to refugees that they must leave the territory of the tent camp as soon as possible and move into the places, prepared by migratory service in the territory of Cossack village Ordzhonikidzevskoi. But Chechen refugees categorically stated to Russian officer about their unwillingness to risk themselves with the migration and to leave already three years settled places, in spite of the absence in Bella of favorable conditions of stay. Moreover, refugees from Chechnya in their appeal to the President of RI, Ziazikov and in the address of prosecutor office, Interior Ministry of RI, commissioner for Human Rights with the President of RF A. Pamfilova, PACE and Human Rights Organizations) told that Parchiyev said, the land, where is located Bella town, was private property; therefore camp must be dismantled. According to Parchiyev, the point of the temporary arrangement of the forced migrants of 'Bella' is located in the territory, which is divided by land sectors for the building of houses for the inhabitants of the Republic of Ingushetia. The deputy administrator of immigration affairs, A.Parchiyev did not explain, why precisely now, at the end of the summer season, appeared the need for the urgent building of the deserted vacant land in the outskirts of cossack village Sleptsovskoy, where was located 'Bella camp'. In this case, the inhabitants of other three tent camps, located in immediate proximity of Bella town, did not obtain this warning yet. In the opinion of Chechen refugees, this action is the sequential attempt of the Russian authorities to force the deprived people to willingly leave the territory of tent camp against their desire.
