Mass-burial discovered in Naurskoi region

According to information of local residents, a new site of the mass burial of civilians was discovered three days ago in Naurskoi region. According to the eyewitnesses, as a whole 6 corpses with signs of the severe punishments and tortures were discovered in the fraternal grave. According to available information, three of them were identified and taken by relatives for burial to Nadterechnoi region of Chechnya. The remaining three bodies could not be so far identified. The surnames of people, who became victims of extrajudicial execution are confirmed, informed press-service of CKNS.

Murder of the inhabitant of Mayskoi settlement 

During the daytime on August 2, 2003, Russian invaders on several BTR without number plates arrived in the outskirts of Mayskoi settlement of Nadterechnoi region of CRI. According to information obtained from local residents, armored vehicle stayed in the populated area for approximately 40 minutes. After the departure of BTR vehicles from the settlement, at the place, where these stood, was discovered corpse of a killed man.The identity of person, who became the victim of extrajudicial execution from the side of Russian invaders, could not be established, reported press service of CKNS.

In fear of punitive cleansing

According to report of local residents, leaflets with warning were distributed by Russian combat helicopter in the space above Nojai-Yourt regional center during the daytime on August 2, 2003. The Russian occupational command warned the inhabitants of Nojai-Yourt to be ready for mass-scale punitive cleansing in this populated area. As indicated in text of the leaflets, the reason for forthcoming “cleansing  is allegedly the presence of large number of mujahideen in this populated area, reported press service of CKNS. Many local residents, fearing for the fate of their children, began in haste to leave the populated area with the intention to stay with their relatives, who live in other regions. People know that checking of documents can lead to tragic consequences. The cleansing is conducted by Russian invaders in the populated area, all the more, after such serious charges.
