Nightly shelling
of a Chechen village
Residents of Chechen
village of Hambi-Irze, Achkhoi-Martan District of CRI are being subjected
to nightly shelling, Kavkaz Center correspondent reported.
Earlier it was reported that the locals stated that as an expression
of protest they were going to block the traffic on the highway leading
to the Chechen capital of Jokhar, and some families promised to return
to the refugee camps in Ingushetia, from where they have recently returned.
Hambi-Irze residents are spending all nights in underground shelters,
since the artillery shells are exploding in the vicinity every single
night. Our correspondent reported that the local cemetery has already
been damaged from the shelling.
Chechen refugees return to Ingushetia from Chechnya
Kavkaz Center correspondent reported from Chechnya that for the past
week the invaders have been conducting artillery strikes on the area
of the village of Hambi-Irze, Achkhoi-Martan District.
As an expression of protest, the locals are ready to block off the highway
leading to the Chechen capital. Because of the war operations, many
Chechen families are returning to the refugee camps in Ingushetia, where
they have recently moved from.

Russian sources reported that a car belonging to Russian State Duma
Deputy Frants Klintsevich came under attack in Chechnya. The Deputy
and the famous collaborator Ruslan Yamadayev, who traveled along with
him, were not harmed. The attackers disappeared.
