Murderous brutality in Chechen refugee camps

At
4 A.M. on June 3, 2003, Russian invaders arrived on seven BTR vehicles, five Ural trucks, "Gazel" and a Volga-3110, and carried out raid on the camp of Chechen refugees "URS", located in the outskirts of Nazran city. The invaders, among whom, in the opinion of refugees, were servicemen of occupational regime from among marionette "Chechen Militia" and Ingush power departments, broke into the camp. Without any explanations, they broke the panes of windows, broke open the doors of rooms, turned everything upside down, which fell in the hand and conducted searches of the entire territory of the refugee camp, press-service of CKNS informed.

All men were dragged to the street, photographed and their documents photocopied. After this, all of them were ordered to lie down on the ground and forced to lie for approximately one hour, until illegal search continued in the camp. Chechen refugees confirmed that invaders behaved verty rudely with the people. Numbers on armored vehicle and other vehicles were painted over by contamination. Invaders took and drove away in the unknown direction four forced migrants, who lived in "URS" camp, i.e. camp commandant, Rakhman Arsayev Almanovich, date of birth 1969; Muzayev Umar Shadiyevich, 1967; Movlayev Khaseyn Imiyevich, 1970, and Tashukhadzhiyev Khavazhi Yakhyaevich, 1977. All detainees were natives of Tsotsin-Yourt of Kurchaloyev region.

Several vehicles, belonging to refugees, were ransacked. From the vehicle of VAZ-2106 and Kamaz truck, invaders took away imported auto-radio tapes recorder. They stole from the compartments: video tape recorder, video camera, television set and another daily-used equipment. In one of the vehicles were 25 boxes with humanitarian aid, which the inhabitants of the camp "URS" obtained the day before. The invaders took away 10 out of these boxes.

According to the evidence of people, the invaders, who attacked the camp of refugees, arrived from the side of Chechen Republic of Ichkeria through the Mayski settlement of northern
Ossetia. After the completion of this murderous action, they left back into Chechnya along the same route. Chechen refugees asserted that to the boundary with northern Ossetia, the column of occupants was accompanied by "Volga" GAZ-3110, which then returned from the boundary post of GAI through Mayski settlement back into Ingushetia.
