The kidnapped woman and schoolgirl from Ulus-Kert found dead

On June 1 in the Shali distric of Chechnya were discovered the bodies of a Chechen woman and schoolgirl, abducted by Russian invaders from Ulus-Kert settlement on the night of May 18, publication of Caucasus Times informed.

15-years old Aminat Dugayeva and 33-years old Kurbika Gekhayeva were driven away from their house in Ulus-Kert settlement of Shali region by Russian invaders, who arrived into the populated area on several armored vehicles without number plates. Later on, mass media of the RF published the report that the detainees allegedly were involved in the preparation for the seizure of theatrical center "Nord-Ost" in Moscow in the autumn of 2002.

10 days after this, a group of Chechen mujahideen consisting of 50 to 70 soldiers, for several hours had taken control of Ulus-Kert settlement. Mujahideen arrested two collaborationists from among the pro-Russian police and demanded the immediate release of hostages.
