The list of the residents of the settlements of Starye Atagi killed during the hostilities from the fall 1999 to February 2002

1. Oleg Mezhidov (the name and the family name were given in the orphanage), born in 1934.

2. Movlat Mezhidova, born in 1936.

3. Beslan Mezhidov, born in 1969.

4. Amina Mezhidova, born in 1973.

5. Sveta Mezhidova, born in 1985 - all of the Mezhidovs died as a result of a tank shelling of the settlement of Znamenskoye on October 5, 1999, buried in Znamenskoye.

6. Issa Nakhayev, 60. Killed together with two comrades during a helicopter attack in the Nadterechny district on October 10, 1999.

7. Shamil Elbuzdukayev, 20. Killed in a missile attack at the Grozny central market on October 21, 1999.

8. Liza Ezerkhanova, killed on October 21, 1999 at the same market. On that day 150 people died on the spot at the Grozny market, later 200 died from wounds.

9. Tamara Chakayeva, 65, killed on October 27, 1999 as a result of a missile attack near the "Luch" shop in Grozny. The next day, during her funeral in the settlement of Starye Atagi, two Russian aircraft attacked the cemetery. As a result one person was killed, 5 - wounded, a bus was burnt, 6 vehicles damaged.

10. Bilkiz Movtayeva, killed in Grozny in January 2000, in June that year reburied in the settlement of Starye Atagi.

11. Malkan Khadissova, 12, died on October 27, 1999 as a result of an air raid in the Octyabrsky district in Grozny.

12. Hussein Shakhgiriyev, 26, killed on October 30, 1999 by a missile launched from a Russian jet fighter when he returned home with firewood.

13. Dashalu Yussupov, about 65-67, died on October 31, 1999 from a wound (one of his arms was cut off) received as a result of a bombardment of a refugee column near the settlement of Shaami-Yurt on October 29, 1999.

14. Yakha Jabrailova, 55, killed by a missile launched from a Russian aircraft at a bus stop in the outskirts of the village (the road "Grozny-Shatoi").

15. Tamila Sambiyeva (Tsamayeva), about 25, killed by a missile launched from a Russian aircraft at a bus stop in the outskirts of the village when she took water from the canal. She had two children.

16. Aina Mudarova, 42, died on November 5, 1999 from wounds received on October 21, 1999 at the central market.

17. Khavazhi Mushligov, born in 1966, killed by a missile launched from a Russian aircraft while driving relatives to Shatoi.

18. Khalipat Shapiyeva, 60, died on November 8, 1999 from wounds received on October 29, 1999 when Russian troops fired missiles at a refugee column at the settlement of Shaami-Yurt.

19. Issa Zhabayev, 39, died on November 15, 1999 as a result of beatings and tortures by Dagestani policemen who detained him in late October while driving a truck with household goods.

20. Said-Magomed Elmurzayev, 22, killed by a missile from a Russian aircraft on November 29, 1999 in the outskirts of Starye Atagi.

21. Shirvani Osmayev, 64, killed on December 3, 1999 during an artillery shelling of Starye Atagi.

22. Said-Hassan Yakhyayev, killed on December 5, 1999 while driving a tractor with hay to the settlement of Chiri-Yurt. He had a family: a wife and two children.

23. Razet Osmayeva, 60, died on December 10, 1999 from wounds received during an air raid on December 3, 1999.

24. Said-Emin Munayev, 49, killed on December 11, 1999 near the village of Alkhazurovo while driving his car from Ingushetia with a dead body. The vehicle was subjected to unreasonable fire by Russian troops.

25. Laila Khajiyeva, killed on January 26, 2000 together with her daughter during a shelling of the settlement of Kalinina in Grozny. Both buried in the inner yard of their house, on February 10, 2000 reburied in Starye Atagi.

26. Luiza Khajiyeva, killed together with her mother in the settlement of Kalinina in Grozny.

27. Bilal Apkarov, 15, died on January 31, 2000 during the explosion of a mine found after a "zachistka" in Starye Atagi. Two other children were wounded.

28. Movla Nassurov, 35, killed together with his brother in the settlement of Kalinina in Grozny on January 27, 2000. Both were buried in the inner yard of the house. In February 2000 they were reburied in Starye Atagi. He had a wife and two children.

29. Shamsuddin Sadykov, 43, tortured to death by federals in Grozny, buried in the inner yard of his house.

30. Asrudi Tamayev, 26, killed in the outskirts of Starye Atagi: his car crashed by a tank was discovered on December 3, 1999, however his dead body was found in an irrigation canal only on April 9, 2000. Buried in Starye Atagi on April 28, 2000.

31. Salman Salmurzayev, the father of two, a TB patient. He was taken away in a Russian APC on January 15, 2000, his dead body was discovered on May 2, 2000 in the outskirts of the village on the bottom of a trench cover with ground. Another unidentified corpse was discovered in the trench.

32. Adam Salsayev, 45, exploded on a mine on May 30, 2000 at a foot-bridge across the river of Argun.

33. Sultan Oibuyev, 63-65, died because of a heart pain while running to the place of the detention of his daughter-in-law by Russian troops in the outskirts of the village on June 3, 2000.

34. Said-Hussein Gireyev.

35. Said-Emin Gireyev.

36. Arbi Gireyev - a cousin of the Gireyevs.

37. Mussa Sugaipov, 50. Together with the Gireyevs he was detained for no reason by a Russian special squad and taken away on January 27, 2000. Their mutilated bodies with numerous signs of cruel tortures were discovered on June 14, 2000 not far from Starye Atagi.

38. Hassan Daudov, a mentally challenged patient, 24, killed on July 21, 2000 by representatives of the Russian MVD who stayed in the administrative building of the collective farm of "Ataginsky."

39. Emmedi Idigov, 45-47, taken away by federals while fishing in the outskirts of the village on July 25, 2000. On July 28, 2000 he was found dead (beaten to death). He had seven children.

40. Umar Sadykov, 20, died from a nerve paralyzing gas on July 30, 2000. He had a wife and a child.

41. Khadizhat Khazgiriyeva, 21, died from a nerve paralyzing gas on August 1, 2000. She had a son, 3.
