Terrorist unit staging acts
of terrorism in Russian cities - interior minister

MOSCOW. July 10 (Interfax) - Intelligence information indicates that a unit of
terrorists coordinated from the same center is acting in Russia to prepare acts
of terrorism in a number of Russian cities, Interior Minister Boris Gryzlov told
the press on Thursday. "We have certain information that will enable us to shortly
hunt down this unit, which is training female suicide bombers," Gryzlov said.
The investigation believes the bombing in Moscow's Tushino on July 5 and the explosion
on Pervaya Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street in downtown Moscow early on Thursday are
connected, he said. "We definitely link these two acts of terrorism, because it
is absolutely obvious now that the same unit of terrorists, with a common leadership,
are attempting to stage these acts of terrorism," he said.
