In the village of Goity of the Urus-Martan region of  Chechnya, at night, from Saturday to Sunday two local residents -  Lechi and Ibragim Bitayevs were kidnapped. Interfax reports, citing  the head of the region Shirvani Yasayev, that late at night, into Bitayevs' house came unknown armed people and under the threat of  shooting [the Bitayevs] down, they have taken away both brothers.

Yasayev's adult son was also abucted a year ago, nothing it's known  about his fate. Yasayev has been occupied for long time with  questions of providing security; however, to achieve some results is  very complicated. In particular, Yasayev described that he emphasized  at the recent session of Chechnya's administration that police of the  village of Goity takes no measures in order to avoid abductions.  According to Yasayev, this is not difficult to do - two roads leads  into the village, which police could take under twenty-four hour  control. Personnel of the [police] department numbers 36 people.  Furthermore, according to Yasayev, in the populated areas of the Urus- Martan region twenty-four hour patrolling hasn't been organized.
