Blast injures 4 in Chechnya

GROZNY. April 26 (Interfax) - Four people were wounded when a remote-controlled landmine went off in Urus-Martan, Chechnya. The explosion hurt three policeman and a local woman, the  administration of the Urus- Martan region told Interfax. One of the policemen is in serious condition, Interfax was told. The landmine was found in the street in Urus-Martan and the local authorities were immediately alerted. Before sappers came to the scene, the area was cordoned off by policemen and people were evacuated from nearby houses. The landmine went off two hours after it was found.
