MOSCOW, May 14 (Itar-Tass) -- Over twenty people were killed and dozens of others
were injured in the latest terrorist attack in Chechnya on Wednesday.
According to Chechen prime minister's adviser Alexey Vasin, a woman attacker exploded
herself in a crowd during a religious holiday in the village of Iliskhan-Yurt,
the Gudermes district. Dozens of people were injured.
The Chechen Interior Ministry does not rule out the attack was against the head
of the Chechen administration Akhmat Kadyrov, who attended the event. Kadyrov
was not hurt. Teams of the Emergency Situations Ministry and investigators are
on their way to the crime scene.
