Russian's "squadrons of death" in action   
 
On April 5, 2003 between the populated areas of Goyskoi and Alkhazurovo of Urus-Martan region was found the corpse of Mursaliev, inhabitant of suburban Grozny region. About 2 months ago, he was kidnapped by Russian invaders and since then is considered disappeared without whereabouts. According to eyewitnesses, the corpse of the killed was hanging from a tree. According to information available, Mursaliyev was a member of a Chechen human rights organization. The reason after the extrajudicial violence of this human rights activist is still unknown.

April 8, 2003 in Katayama village of Staropromyslovskeyoi region of Dzhokhar, invaders in masks and camouflage dress brutally beat a local resident Wahid Gaytanov, who lived on Shahterov Street. Only because of the interference of neighbors and group of women, Wahid was saved from the extrajudicial violence of the brutal invaders.

Gaytanov, who received many cuts and injuries, is lying for dispensary treatment. Relatives and neighbors of the victim fear that this story can have upcoming, press service of CKNS reported.

Increase in punitive raids of invaders after referendum

Four young people were detained by Russian invaders at 16 o'clock on April 3, 2003 at a checkpoint near Stariye Atagi village of the rural region of Grozny. Invaders brutally thrashed the elderly taxi driver, while tied and drove away the passengers in the unknown direction. Russian invaders kidnapped six local residents at 4:00 a.m. on April 5, 2003 in Duba-Yourt village of Shalinskoi region.

The aggressors, who arrived in the populated area on several vehicles, drove away 2 people in the unknown direction on April 5, 2003 in Chiri-Yurt village of the Shali region. Relatives have been conducting their unsuccessful search. The surnames of the detainees have not been indicated on the request of their relatives.

According to report of local residents, on April 6, 2003 disappeared the inhabitant of Dacha-Borzoi settlement, Mezhiyev. 26-years old young man left for the adjacent forest to collect firewood, but did not return home.
