The next day on 21 May at 4 am five unidentified men seized a resident of Grozny Khakalov Imran Bershigevich (born 1962) from his own flat. On 20 May 2005 at 9 am a resident of the village of Chechen-Aul of the Chechen Grozny rural district left his house situated at the address 33 Aslanbek Sheripov Street and never came back home. On 19 May 2005 at 8.30 pm Shakhidov Ramzan Sultanovich (born 1978) disappeared without any traces left in the Chechen town of Argun. According to the testimonies of some local people, they saw him picking up two servicemen of the police. They drove away together. Ramzan’s relatives have not heard anything from him since that.
