Chechen commanders had been tortured with the aid of a drill The bodies of two Chechen commanders of the middle rank Yakhya Tasuyev from Geldygen, and Shirvani Eskerkhanov from Gekhi had been discovered recently in Chechnya. Both mujahadeen, judging by their injuries, had undergone monstrous tortures. The relatives and close ones of these martyrs report that both feet of mujahedeen were drilled in several places. Yakhya Tasuyev was well known in Chechnya as one of the most popular and most authoritative masters of Islamic faith. His lectures and appearances, recorded on the audio and videocassettes, have been spread by thousands among the youth of Chechnya for several years already. According to the data of Chechen command both mujahadeen were seized a while back in Khasavyurt, where they were recuperating. Chechen command also reports that, judging by the preliminary information, Tasuyev and Eskerkhanov were betrayed. After their seizure they were given in the hands of Kadyrovites, who have committed these murders with applying monstrous tortures. Previously, by the same brutal method the Kadyrovites tortured 72- yrs old Tasuyev's father. However, all 8 participants of that murder were subsequently revealed by the mujahadeen and executed. Commenting on the loss of two Chechen mujahadeen, well-known Chechen, Uvays Akhmadov stated to the Kavkaz-center agency, that he has already long ago indicated the fact that many Chechen commanders have became the victims of treachery by those, who allegedly secretly render aid to the mujahadeen and who have gone to work in the occupational structures - "They render insignificant services to a number mujahadeen, they get their confidence, but when the matter concerns more-less authoritative commanders, that practically all, under one pretext or another, they pass [them] to the Russians. We have tracked all these cases, and I believe - none of them will remain without a consequences for these traitors. I call on our mujahadeen, especially the commanders, to pay attention and not to trust without a caution these, who today serve the Russian occupiers and allegedly try, as they assert, to simultaneously help the Chechen soldiers, - stated Akhmadov. 2004-01-05 00:59:26 |
