fighters taken hostages by Russian military
According to the information obtained from the residents of the villages Pobedinskoye
and Dolinskoye of Grozny (village) district, on the nights of 29 January 2003,
the employees of Russian special services of Nadterechny district headed by Mairbek
Huseinov illegally arrested four young men - the two brothers Mudaevs, Khalimov
and one local resident who has not been identified yet. In the words of their
relatives, the reason for their arrest is that their elder brothers took part
in military actions and nothing is known where they are at present. The capturers
of the young people told their relatives the following: "We will release them
when the fighters yield themselves prisoner!" The relatives of the detainees,
the young men are kept in the premises of the district department of the Federal
Special Services in the village Znamenskoye.
