Victims of Nauri Mass Burial Identified

On 8 February 2003, in the outskirts of the village Kapustino, Nauri district, a new mass burial of the civilians was found (Press Release # 276 of the Chechen Committee of National Salvation, 18 February 2003). Five bodies have been identified.

1. Vaha Ikaev, born in 1960, resident of the village Alpatovo of Nauri district, was captured by the Russian servicemen on the night of 18 October 2002. The body is beheaded.

2. Husein Kantaevich Magomadov, born in 1970, resident of the village Naur, was captured by the Russian servicemen in his home on 11 June 2002. The body is beheaded.

3. Mahmud Yakhaevich Alkhazurov , resident of the village Avangardnoye of Nauri district, was captured by the Russian servicemen on the night of 18 October 2002. The body is beheaded.

4. Ahmed Yakhaevich Ismailov, born in 1975, resident of the village Komsomolskoye of Nauri district, was captured by the Russian servicemen on 29 November 2002 at the block-post not far from the village Yubileinoye.

5. Hasan Elmurzaev, resident of the Nauri district was captured by the Russian servicemen on 29 October 2002 not far from the village Yubileinoye..
