Blackmail: People threatened by shelling if they refuse to vote

Russian occupation authorities in Chechnya promise to subject to shelling one or another village in case of refusal to take part in illegal "referendum of new constitution" to be held late in March. The information has been obtained from the residents of Chechnya who  managed to leave their native villages and towns recently. According to them, Russian authorities try to force the Chechens to go to the referendum and get necessary votes through blackmail.

In the meantime, the President of the Chechen Republic Ichkeria Aslan Maskhadov warned the Russian authorities and their collaborationists that Chechen forces would not allow conducting of anti-national referendum on the territory of Chechnya.
