Mass burial found in Nauri Ddistrict

On 9 February 2003, a new mass burial was found in Nauri district, Chechnya. People found it by chance and called for the militia. The militiamen dug out 7 corpses. The bodies of the victims of summary execution were decomposed, though it was clear that they had been shot. The age of the victims ranges from 20 to 50. The bodies were taken to the local mosque for identification.

Our agency regularly publishes the lists of civilians captured by the Russian servicemen, no less are among them the residents of the districts adjacent to the river Terek. Mainly those are males, and absolute majority of them are missing. To be more precise, the traces lead to such secret mass burials as found in Nauri district of Chechnya yesterday. After identification of the bodies we will inform the readers on the details of capturing the above-mentioned seven persons.
