PACE-Duma working group co-chairman Lord Judd resigns

PACE rapporteur on Chechnya and Co-Chairman of the PACE-State Duma  Working Group Lord Frank Judd has sent in his letter of resignation.  This comes after the Assembly on Wednesday reacted negatively to his  proposal to delay the constitutional referendum in Chechnya scheduled for late March.

Webauthor's comment: Ahhh..... I was waiting for this :) This man was indeed very surprising in the last weeks. After years of inactivity and passive alliance with the genocidal regime of Putin, where he repeatedly boasted about "great improvements in Chechnya" and which no one except him could see, he suddenly said what many were waiting for: THE TRUTH! That is he clearly denounced that killings, torture, disappearances, rapes, etc. are an everyday reality in Chechnya. And now we get to know that he resigns.... This amply underlines his and Western bad conscience.
