People still disappear in Chechnya

So-called head of Chechnya reported today, more than 170 people have disappeared for the last two months in the republic, however Kadyrov  did not comment the reason that caused the existing situation. It is no more a secret that Russian servicemen kidnap the civilians, and that the number of the missing people is over the three-digit figure. This also can be proved by mathematical calculation - if 170 are listed as missing for two months, how many people are missing for the three years of the war?

People, as a rule, disappear as a result of so-called "zachistki" - an operation during which the passports of the civilians are checked. Actually it is a retaliatory operation in course of which people are subjected to tortures, humiliation, robbery, beatings, illegal arrests, and after which the lists of the missing people are replenished with  new names. Besides the Russian servicemen the people of Kadyrov also kidnap the civilians. Thus the guard of Kadyrov headed by his son has its private prison in the native village of the Kadyrovs - Tsotsin-Yurt. Like the prisons of Russian aggressors this prison is known for severity to the people kept in custody.

It is sufficient to look through the window of Kadyrov's office and  look into the eyes of the mothers looking for their sons, to find out how often these crimes are committed in Chechnya. I would like to remind that a meeting of the Chechen mothers in front of the Government of Chechnya began a month ago and is still going on. The human rights groups have collected a great deal of materials providing with the precise information on the detainees and the time and circumstances under which the missing people had been arrested. Thus, 4 people were detained today as a result of the "zachistka" carried out in the Zavodskoy district of the Chechen capital.
