Details of "zachistka" operation in Nasyr-Kort, Ingushetia
Early in the morning on 8 January 2003, the employees of Internal Ministry
of Ingushetia blocked the territory of Chechen refugees temporary residence
in the environs of the village Nasyr-Kort of Nazran District and conducted
a large-scale "zachistka", which, in the words of the refugees from Chechnya,
reminded them of the notorious "zachistki" carried out by the Russian military
in the Chechen Republic.
Making no comments on their action, the Ingush militiamen detained above
10 men and young people, temporarily living in the camp. According to the
eye-witnesses, the militiamen broke into the rooms, and without any accusations
forced young people to go out, even not letting them to take the documents
and get dressed. The names of some detained people are known;
Adam Dokshukaev,
Isa Aktaganov,
Vislan Mudarov,
Abubakar Yusupov,
Magomed Maziev,
Ruslan Erziev and
Ruslan Kovrev.
The detainees are still in militia department of Nazran.
